Add the series you want to finish. The bill counts their paid episodes, the tokens they need, and how many months of Premium tokens would cover them, buying whole episodes as the monthly tokens arrive.

How tokens work on Candy Shorts

Tokens are Candy's in-app currency. In Shorts, every episode after the free ones shows a token price on its button, and that price is what this site records.

Across 1,008 public episodes, 602 cost 12 tokens and 45 cost 30. No episode showed a discount on our last check: the price on the button matched the original price everywhere.

The median series costs 36 tokens; the whole public catalog costs 8,574.

Where tokens come from

• Premium: 100 tokens a month, which Candy's help center says arrive on your renewal date, yearly plans included. That is 8 standard episodes or 3 twin episodes a month.
• Premium Plus: a higher tier that Candy's help center describes with 330 tokens a month. It was not offered to our logged-out US session on the subscriptions page, so we have no price for it.
• Token packs: sold inside Candy. The token page sends logged-out visitors to sign in, so pack sizes and prices are not public and not on this site.
• Free account: no tokens, as far as Candy's pages show. It opens episode 2 of every public series, plus 1 free image and 5 chat messages, according to the help center.

Do tokens expire?

Candy's documents disagree. A help center article says canceling keeps your account, content and tokens. Section 10.2 of the terms of service says remaining tokens expire at the end of the billing period. Until Candy settles it, plan as if unused tokens can be lost when a subscription ends, and spend them before you cancel.

Does Premium skip the tokens?

Not verified. Candy's paywall for Shorts lists, in its own words: Unlock all premium episodes; AI generates the most spicy moments; Watch in HD anytime, anywhere. But episode buttons keep a token price, and no help center article says whether a Premium member still pays tokens per episode. The bill above assumes the cautious case: Premium tokens pay for episodes.

Token math for common goals

A "+" marks a floor: the months are counted on tokens alone, and buying whole episodes month by month can leave a few tokens unused each month, which stretches the real figure.

Tokens by Candy category

Medians sit at the catalog minimum on almost every shelf, because most series share the same shape and price. The totals differ mainly with the size of the shelf and with how many twin or long series it holds.

Spending tokens well

• Watch the free episodes first. They cost nothing and are the best evidence you will get about a series before paying.
• Buy one episode at a time. There is no series pass in Shorts as far as Candy's pages show, so nothing is gained by committing early.
• Mind the twin price. A twin series' paid episodes cost 30 tokens, which is more than 2 standard episodes.
• Spend before you cancel. Candy's documents disagree on what happens to unused tokens, so do not leave a balance behind.

A worked example

Say you liked the free episodes of My Girlfriend’s Sister Kept Me After Class, My Stepsister Plays Hard To Get and the twin series My Stepmom Sophie Dee Caught Me Changing, and want to finish all three.

• The two standard series need 36 and 36 tokens; the twin series needs 90.
• That is 9 paid episodes and 162 tokens in total.
• Premium's 100 monthly tokens cover it in 2 months or more, depending on how whole episodes fit each month.
• The free episodes you already watched, 6 in all, cost nothing either way.

Within one length, the spread comes from the episode price: a twin series of the same length costs more than a standard one.
