How we check Candy AI Shorts prices

1. Two sessions that must agree

Each check starts with an empty cookie jar, from a US connection, once as a phone browser and once as a desktop browser, a short time apart. Both read Candy's full library, every public series page, the subscriptions page and the creators page. The two snapshots are compared on every field we publish: titles, tags, Spicy flag, categories, synopsis, episode prices, lock state and the free episode. Any difference is checked again before import. On Nov 2, 2026 the two snapshots matched on every field.

2. What is read from each page

• Library cards: title, tags, Spicy flag, poster, position, Candy's featured and Brand New flags.
• Series pages: each episode's number, token price, original price and lock state; the synopsis; the cast list.
• Creators page: the "Feat." credits that identify real performers' AI twins.
• Subscriptions page: plans, monthly prices, billing lines and the Premium benefits list.
• Help center: token, refund, cancellation and billing articles, read through Candy's public help center data.

3. From data to page

The snapshot is compiled into one catalog file, and every page draws its numbers from it: counts, prices, the free rule, tags and dates. No catalog count or price is typed into the text by hand; the few policy numbers from Candy's help center sit in one sourced list. To prove it, we render every page a second time against a deliberately altered catalog, with different prices, extra episodes and an extra handful of series. Any number that does not change between the two renders would be a number someone typed, and gets fixed.

4. Frame samples

To report what the free episode 1 shows, we capture 6 frames spread evenly across its runtime and record what is on screen in three levels: no nudity, partial (implied, covered or see-through), or full. 15 series have been sampled so far. A sample can miss a moment, so it is reported as a signal, with its date, never as a full review. Paid episodes are not sampled or described.

5. What stays unverified

• Episode lists and prices of the 18 Spicy series, which Candy shows only after sign-up.
• Token pack prices, which Candy shows only after login.
• Whether a Premium member still pays tokens for paid episodes.
• Anything shown inside paid episodes.

Pages that touch these points say so where they come up, instead of filling the gap with a guess.

6. Editorial choices

A few series stay in the catalog and in every total but get no page of their own, because their premise leaves the characters' ages unclear or leans on coercion. They are never featured or ranked. Candy's rules require users to be 18+ and say its AI content must not "bear any resemblance to minors".
